Mrs. Bob Cratchits Wild Christmas Binge

Mrs. Bob Cratchits Wild Christmas Binge
November 30 - December 31, 2007
Friday & Saturday 8pm; Sunday 2:30pm

Christopher Durang turns Charles Dickens’ holiday classic on its head. In this hilarious parody, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future are all played by one sassy actress who keeps showing up way too early, Scrooge refuses to repent, and Mrs. Bob Cratchit decides to get drunk and jump off London Bridge. With twenty-one foundlings in the basement, and that whiny TinyTim, wouldn’t you want a drink too?

Showtimes are Friday & Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2:30pm. Ticket prices range from $22-$15, and may be purchased at online here, The Strand Theatre box office located at 2317 Ships Mechanic Row, or charged by phone at (409) 763-4591.

About Strand Theatre...

The Strand Theatre is a not for profit corporation chartered in the State of Texas in 1978. The Strand Theatre, then "The Strand Street Theatre," began producing theatrical productions in 1977. In May 1978, the organization moved to its present location at 2317 Ship's Mechanic Row. In January 1982, through a generous grant from the Moody Foundation, the property was purchased as a permanent home for the theatre in the midst of Galveston's newly revitalized Strand Historic District.
